Kevin Wilkinson is the founding partner of Coastal Vineyard Services, a premier farming company based out of the Central Coast. As a San Luis Obispo County native, Kevin was exposed to agriculture at an early age. His love of the area and interest in progressive farming inspired him to earn his degree in Crop Science at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He began his career as a viticulturist and Manager at top wineries such as Laetitia Winery and Talley Vineyards. During his tenure at Talley, Kevin expanded his responsibilities to become General Manager of vineyard management company, Talley Custom Viticulture. It was there that Kevin began collaborating with various winemakers and vineyard owners, maximizing the quality of their grapes through customized farming practices. Kevin’s passion for precision farming and working with artisan brands lead him to establish Coastal Vineyard Services in 2012. He consults on all cultural activities that increase overall vine health resulting in superior wine quality. He plays a pivotal role in developing new vineyards and enjoys mentoring his staff in specific farming techniques. Kevin’s goal is to assist in creating the best bottle of wine possible.
